Laura and Linzi, our study Research Fellows, have secured funding for an event for Early Career Researchers with the British Sociological Association. They are currently inviting people to attend, as well as an opportunity to present.
Creative and participatory methods in qualitative research have grown in prominence in the past two decades. Additionally, the pandemic has prompted many social researchers to consider how they ‘do’ qualitative research. This timely one-day interactive workshop will explore such methods featuring a keynote from Professor Helen Lomax, presentations from three ECRs, an interactive zine workshop, and a showcase from a collaborative film-making project.
Opportunity to present
- BSA Member £5
- Non Member £15
Places are limited to 30 and you will need to register before the 21st April 2022
2 x travel expenses contributions (£30 each) are available for delegates with no institution funding and/or not in permanent, full-time employment. Please e-mail the two organisers to be considered for this including a 250 word explanation of why your research could benefit from attending this event. Deadline to apply for this: 1st March 2022.
