Together for Childhood

Together for Childhood is a long-term project delivered by NSPCC that works with local communities to make them safer for children. Local partners and families come together to prevent abuse and tackle the problems that cause it, head-on. Grimsby is one of four UK locations to deliver the project.

The Following Young Fathers Further study director Anna was originally approached by Dr Karen Bateson to explore the possibilities of establishing a Young Dads Collective in Grimsby in order to build on existing good practice by developing a policy and practice offer in the locality that had the support needs and concerns of young men and fathers. Nice Karen moved on to pastures news, our current partner Bernadette Taylor has been supporting us to promote and establish the Grimsby Dads Collective in Grimsby and has been integral to its success.
